Built by Someone Who Has Done It Before

Pvt.Space was founded by New Zealand technology entrepreneur Tim Gallagher, who previously founded privacy and communications platform SafeSwiss.

SafeSwiss grew to approximately 400,000 downloads and more than 100,000 registered users, giving Gallagher first-hand experience in building and operating privacy-focused communications technology for an international user base.

That experience became part of the foundation for Pvt.Space.

Rather than starting with a pitch deck, raising millions of dollars and then attempting to build a product, Gallagher took the opposite approach. Pvt.Space was developed privately, debt-free and without institutional VC backing, with the technology, infrastructure, privacy architecture, payment systems and product ecosystem built before pursuing large-scale growth.
