Kuala Lumpur, July 2026 – HELP University once again demonstrated its sporting excellence after delivering an outstanding performance at the ASICS Badminton University Championship 2026 and the ASICS Invitational Badminton University Cup 2026 in June 2026, securing multiple podium finishes against some of the region’s strongest university badminton teams.

Leading the charge was Low Eu Cong, who emerged as Champion in the Men’s Singles event at the ASICS Badminton University Championship 2026. He also partnered Brandon Hee to claim Runner-Up in the Men’s Doubles category, capping off an exceptional tournament for the talented shuttler.

HELP University also celebrated a Runner-Up finish in the Mixed Doubles event through the impressive partnership of Poopathi Velayutham and Venosha Radhakrishnan, further highlighting the depth of the University’s badminton programme.

The University’s success continued at the ASICS Invitational Badminton University Cup 2026, where the HELP University Varsity Mixed Team comprising Low Eu Cong, Brandon Hee, Poopathi Velayutham, Goh Yang Hong, Ethan Chan, and Venosha Radhakrishnan finished as Runner-Up.

The invitational tournament featured top university teams from Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore, making HELP University’s achievement particularly significant. Among the international field, HELP University emerged as the highest-ranked Malaysian university, finishing ahead of all other local institutions. Ramkhamhaeng University of Thailand claimed the championship title, while Bangkok Thonburi University, also from Thailand, secured third place.
